The rooftop deck at John Allan Chicago is almost open for business! Get a sneak preview on Wednesday, June 6th while enjoying cocktails mixed by celebrity bar and lifestyle expert James Moreland. What the hell is a celebrity bar and lifestyle expert, you ask? I don't know, but I bet it's a hell of a lot better than my current job. Probably a hell of a lot douchier too but I can deal with that. Guests will also be able to try flipflop wines and receive complimentary mini spa services.

The CISC Spring Event

The Chicago Interactive Social Club (CISC) is hosting another night of networking for the interactive industry at NV Penthouse Lounge on Thursday, May 24th. These events usually entail free drinks and appetizers for an hour and a huge crowd that will severely limit your ability to take advantage of the open bar. NV Penthouse Lounge is a nice spot, but it doesn't do well with large crowds, especially on the patio that is roughly the size of a CTA bus shelter.

The Sleeping with the Artist Salon Series at the Hotel Palomar is taking place on Thursday, May 17th. No, this is not a collection of short stories written by Thomas Kinkade's groupies in the style of 50 Shades of Grey. Guests will be able to view a collection of art from local artists while enjoying wine and hors d'oeuvres from Sable Kitchen & Bar.
