Chicago Social is sponsoring the Great Taste Bridal Fete - An Urban Treat at Room 1520's Aérée Loft on Thursday, March 21st 24th. I don't know what makes this event "urban" besides the grafitti font on the flyer. Perhaps they'll pair Vera Wang dresses with Timberland boots? Maybe the garter-belt will be replaced with a small holster to conceal a Derringer pistol? In case people get a little crazy at the reception the bride might have to pop a few shots in the air to quiet things down. If anything, there will be cake and booze at this event so RSVP and mark it on your calendar.

Alexis Bittar Has Arrived!

Alexis Bittar is celebrating the opening of his new Chicago store on Friday, March 25th! When I first got in the game Alexis actually made my first pinky ring (pictured above) for me. It was like a mood ring except it changed colors depending on the hue of my Gators. There SHOULD be free alcohol and appetizers, as is the norm for these types of events, but you can verify this yourself if you want.
