FabFest 2012 Fitness Sampler

Bright Pink's 3rd Annual FabFest is coming up next month and Equinox Loop is hosting a Fitness Sampler on Wednesday, March 7th to get you pumped up! Guests will be able to preview some of the FabFest classes while enjoying refreshments and wine. Does that mean I get to Zumba while double-fisting glasses of Riesling?! FabFest, which surprisingly is not a marathon of Project Runway, takes place in April and it's a day full of workout classes followed by manicures and massages.

Haute Living is hosting a reception for the unveiling of the new porcelain collection, The Guest by Lladró Atelier, on Wednesday, March 14th. Judging by the images on the flyer "The Guest" is a creepy mouse/bunny/alien child figurine that would totally not look weird sitting in my foyer.  I hope this thing doesn't look like the creepy time travel rabbit in Donnie Darko. Bridge Bar Sazerac Soiree

Bridge Bar, the self-proclaimed "Cocktail Kitchen", will share its hand-selected, barrel-aged whiskey with patrons and dole out complimentary Sazeracs on Thursday, February 29th. If you're not an elite liquor snob connoisseur like yours truly, it might be helpful to note that a Sazerac is a "New Orleans variation of an old-fashioned cognac or whiskey cocktail, named for the Sazerac de Forge et Fils brand of cognac that was its original prime ingredient."  Yes, I totally knew that without having to reference Wikipedia. After the whiskey tasting, the after-party will take place in the club below Bridge Bar, aptly titled "The Troll Trot*."
